All Akans Are Not Asantes

The 2008 and 2012 Elections Attested To It.

Many Nations which have had the MISFORTUNE of having been led by brutal dictators, tribal warlords, and day light murderers have always had gaping sycophants who have to constantly defend them in and outside their countries.

Such Presidents and Heads of State always appoint incompetent incapable, inferior and unfit men and women mostly from their own family members who always keep their nations’ citizens in the dark about government policies and programmes as it happened under Ex-Prez. Kufour from 2001-2008 in Ghana. Ghana cannot come to a stand still or be turned up side down just because Nana Akuffo Addo lost the 2012 elections. Ex-Prez. Kufour’s demeanour was a manifestation of a very long standing and entrapped fury which was let out of its long confinement like a spiritual “Jinni” that was holed up in a bottle and had suddenly found its freedom as former President Rawling’s two 4 year terms ended in 2000, and he was no more qualified to contest the 2000 elections in line with the 1992 constitution. The whole NPP machinery were campaigning against Former President Rawlings instead of the late Prez. J.E.A Mills during the 2000 elections. Mills was the Presidential Candidate of the NDC and not Rawlings. When the then candidate J.A. Kufour won the 2000 elections and was eventually inaugurated on 7th Jan. 2001 as President of the Republic of Ghana, all Hell broke loose on NDC members and former NDC ministers and it looked as if Rawlings had been overthrown in a military coup de’tat. The mischieveous agenda of the NPP was soon revealed to Ghanaians when Hon. J.H. Mensah openly stated that. By the time the NPP completes its four year mandate in 2004, the NDC will cease to exist, as all its former ministers and top party leaders would have been jailed by the courts, as if every NDC minister sent to the court must lead to a conviction, The NPP under Ex-Prez. Kufour manipulated the Judiciary and used that institution to illegally jail innocent former ministers under Ex-President Rawlings’ administration. His man agenda was to destroy the NDC and rule Ghana in a one party state after several attempts to assassinate Rawlings failed from 2001-2008.

Again, during the 2008 general election, the entire NPP administration were campaigning against Ex-Prez. Rawlings instead of the late President J.E.A Mills throughout the election period.

AKANS ARE NOT COWARDS

The dreaded National Liberation Movement (NLM) with “Mate meho” as its local name which was later renamed the United Party (UP) with Dr. J.B. Danquah and Dr. Busia as its leaders which the NPP represent today 2013, was born out of TRIBALISM and they have always remained so since the time of Baffour Osei Akoto a former Senior Linguist of the late Asantehene who master minded an ethnic cleansing in Kumasi and Kyebi between 1954 and 1956 where on the orders of Baffour Akoto, thousands on innocent men, women and children, mostly non-Akans were slaughtered like fowls in Kumasi and Kyebi. Dr. Busia led the said killings in Kumasi while Dr. J.B. Danquah led the killings at Kyebi-that is the main reason why I described these two Regions as the killing fields of the Danquah/Busia tradition which the NPP represent today in an interview with a reporter from the “True Democrat” recently, see February, 2013 edition page 16. Dr. J.B.Danquah had an infamous speech which he used to state thus: Any does not support the United Party (UP) must pay with his head, “Jesus Christ!” Oh! Yes, this is the NPP for you, Nana Akuffo Addo, flagbearer of the NPP while addressing NPP members in Koforidua, a mainly Akan meeting called on all Akans to eschew the perception among other tribes in the country that Akans are cowards and would run away from any little threat. Our predecessors who started the party that has now made us the largest party in the country i.e The “Mate-meho” tribal bigots in Kumasi and Kyebi who used to cut open the stomachs of pregnant women and remove the unborn children after killing those women. The “Mate-meho” people who the NPP represent today were not people who were hiding under beds between 1951-1956. They were barbaric things, cannibals and damn right infidels, and because Nana Akuffo Addo wanted to be come president at all cost in the December 12 elections then NPP members must revisit the sordid past of the Danquah/Busia tradition, by throwing bombs, smashing cars, burning markets, organizing strikes and make the country ungovernable as they did in the past.

Those who were killed were Northern settler farmers, miners and other tribes including their own Asante/Akyem tribes men who were described as traitors between 1951-1956. At the Atiwa bye-election we showed a little bit of something – so in the up coming election in 2012, “All Die Be Die”-“All Die Be Die” that was Nana Akuffo Addo the Presidential candidate of the NPP at Atiwa, a town in his home Region – this writer was there as a Polling Agent for the great NDC and. I saw it all. This tribal Battle cry was soon backed by Jake Obetseby Lamptey the National Chairman of the NPP who also stated that Akans would fight for their birth right to RULE THIS COUNTRY IF PEOPLE STAND ON THEIR WAY. These Asante/Akyem politicians now leading the NPP have no self respect since they were all reared like sheep and not trained like human beings and because of that, they regard themselves as superior human beings and believe falsely that Ghana belong to them than any other minority tribe whom they look down upon and regard as INFERIOR Ghanaians. Whether the NPP members likes it or not a Northerner from the minority tribe will continue to rule Ghana as their President popularly elected by reasonable Akans and other minority tribes, and he will work in Ghana as President of the Republic for 8 years and beyond, whether Northerners have cracked feet, whether they are watchmen and cattle rearers or not, these Asante/Akyem politicians can commit mass suicide, go to Hell or burn the sea if only they can do so. To the NPP, President Mahama’s only crime is that he is not fit to be the President of Ghana in the eyes of the NPP just because he is a northerner. They have now paid a heavy befitting price for promoting tribal politics in Ghana since 1992 to date 2013, and Ghanaians have shown them the exit because they saw what happened in Rwanda, Liberia, Angola Sierra Leone, Kenya, Kroatia, Bosnia Hezgovinia in Russia and what have you. Ghana needs peace to develop and not violence, hatred, tribalism, insults, vilification, false allegations and insurgency which are the NPP’s cup of tea. I owe no apology whatsoever to any member of the NPP because nobody have the monopoly over insults in this country since every Action generates a re-action. What is coming, is coming and what will happen, will happen in this country. We are fedup with the negative antics of the NPP. This TRIBAL REFRAIN was soon picked up by a foul mouthed NPP member of parliament for Assin North, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong who declared TRIBAL WAR by calling on Asantes to attack Ewes and Gas, he also described Northerners as people who have cracked feet and are only fit to become watchmen and cattle rearers. President John Mahama therefore won the 2012 general elections because most well meaning Akans who are far MORE THAN THE ASANTE/AKYEM faction leading the NPP that are preaching TRIBAL SUPERIORITY voted massively for the NDC because they see the NPP hardly as a party that can be expected to be FAIR TO OTHER TRIBES if given the mandate to rule Ghana. Finally, I am 100% grateful to the millions of Akans who called the bluff of Nana Akuffo Addo and rejected him for the second time in his last bid to become a vengeful hot headed President of Ghana- therefore all Akans Are Not Asantes at all.

These Tribalists and Chauvimists led by Nana Akuffo Addo must give us a break. It is NOT a crime to become a member of the NPP. It is also not a crime to become a member of the NDC, CPP, PNC,GCPP or PPP- why the tension in Ghana then?

The NPP is now an Asantes/Akyem party and Asante/Akyem is the NPP since 2008 to date. Period

It will be recalled that Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo told Ghanaians that Akans are more than the other minority tribes in Ghana and so if Akans should decide to vote for the NPP, the NDC candidate can never win the elections. Yes, it is a true statement but all Akans are not Asante politicians to always vote for hot headed tribal war lords to become a President. From Obuasi, this has been Clement Sangaparee giving the punks in the NPP, some perpetual heart beats. You keep your fingers crossed, – I shall return when the need arise.
