A Member of the 2014 Commission of Enquiry, Moses Foh Amoaning has raised questions about the appointment of CK Akonnor as new Ghana coach.
The former Asante Kotoko trainer has replaced Kwesi Appiah on a two-year deal and will be deputized by David Duncan.
However, according to the law lecturer, the 45-year-old should have gone through the ranks of the various national teams before getting teh appointment as Black Stars coach.
"CK Akunnor understands the Ghanaian game, looking at what he did at Kotoko especially in that game against Cotton Sports in Cameroon," he told FOX FM.
"I would have personally preferred he passes through the ranks, starting with the Black Satellites or the Black Meteors, but once he has been handed the Black Stars let's support him and I know he can deliver.
