Can We Make It A Better Ghana?

PRESIDENT MILLS: YES WE CAN! The Ghanaian people are peaceful and happy people. Although a large mass of the Ghanaian families are living and suffering from deprivation of economic necessities, they succeed at the end of the day with something pleasing. Outside the big cities in Ghana, most of the people are completely out of Millennium. Often there is no electricity. The day begins with the appearance of the Sun and leaves no shelter for most people. Most of the rural population is unemployed. A lot of them are self employed, trying to sell something to earn their living.

Corruption which is endemic in Ghana has become a parasite to the democracy and development in Ghana. LET US STOP THE CORRUPTION AND THINK MORE ABOUT THE COUNTRY AND MAKE IT A BETTER GHANA.

Apart from the poverty hitting most people the mentality of Ghanaians is often cheerful and friendly "You have the money." "We have the time”. Ghanaians have a strong hope of a better future and this must be the foremost objective of our political Government, even though most of our politicians sometimes seem very relaxed and selfish.

Ghana belongs to the few countries in Africa, where many things can be traced as compared to some of the frightening regimes of the African countries and that is one of the reasons why people flee to Ghana from neighboring countries. FRANCIS TAWIAH (Duisburg – Germany)
