Recycling of corrupt officials, by moving them from one government agency to the next can't solve corruption problems they are still going to exist in the Country. Such actions through reschufflling can only be described as unfortunate. Corrupt officials must be completely eradicated from their offices.
While corruption is gradually but sure becoming an endemic in our Country we must at least fight it vigorously if not eradicating it.
Fact is we cannot totally eradicated corruption out of the system but at least we've to make corruption one of the key issues in Ghana. It seems the Mills government is not doing enough in terms of fighting corruption, and i think this is also very unfortunate.
Wouldn't it be more effective if the government appoints an Anti-Corruption Commission, as part of the government's efforts to fighting corruption.
Fighting corruption in Ghana must be done in such a way that, "the boss of the Anti-Corruption Bureau will not be the same person to be charged for corruption". As some 4 Police Officers exhibited last week in the Capital city Accra.
When we try to weed out corruption, we should be very honest in doing it." We must not put people who are already corrupt into a bureau that will address those issues." It will be the same as a night securityman who has got cold and be coughing, while gone in a hideout waiting for a thief.
