The Electoral Commission has announced it's readiness for the District Level election which will be held tomorrow Tuesday 16 December, 2019.
According to Deputy chairperson for operations at the Electoral Commission, Samuel Tetteh, they have deployed all needed materials in the various regions and districts across the country to ensure that the elections are held smoothly.
He added that persons with disability, pregnant women, and the vulnerable will not be allowed to stay in long queues as they will be given the opportunity to vote as soon as they get to the polling stations.
The only districts not taking part in this year’s assembly elections are Nkoraza North, Nkoraza South and Manya krobo as they had theirs in 2018.
Voting will take place from 7am to 5pm. All eleigible voter are to go to their respective polling stations to cast their votes.
The EC added that Biometric Verification Devices(BVD) would be used to varify voters in the elections as 58,000 BVDs have been refurbished and dispatched to the various Regions and Districts.
He advised voter to refrain from acts which will disrupt the peaceful conduct of the elections.
