We are calling finally on all global forces for good; We are calling on them all to take decisive action to impress on our Brother Barack Obama to immediately abort his policy mission on his visit to Ghana and dismantle the entire existing CIA SKD operations in Ghana and ensure that Ghana is not the military base of AFRICOM.

Barack Hussein Obama is visiting Ghana today in order to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Ghana to cement Ghana the new Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters in Africa and AFICOM military base. • Background on Nkrumah@100 (1909-2009): Kwame Nkrumah (1909-1972) was and will always remain a great son of Afrika. Urged on and supported by Ghana’s progressive youth, he became the founder and leader of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), a vanguard political organisation which led Ghana to independence from British colonial rule. As leader of the CPP he carried out an outstandingly successful social revolution that led to the Gold Coast being transformed onto independent Ghana which in turn spearheaded the dismantling of European colonisation in Afrika. This made Nkrumah the first Afrikan head of state to actively lead his people to independence from European colonial rule. He was a world leader who (1) was intensely committed to both the total emancipation of all of Afrika and the anti-imperialist struggles of all oppressed people throughout the world. In line with this; (2) played a leading role in the non-aligned movement which sought to work cooperatively for the liberation of Afrika, Asia and South America from the clutches of colonialism and imperialism; and (3) over 30 years after his death he was voted by a BBC pole as Afrikan Man of the 20th Century. Kwame Nkrumah was secretary of the 1945 5th Pan-Afrikan congress which laid the foundation for the rapid progress of Afrikan independence which took place from the late 1950’s onwards. He resolutely advocated the idea that the independence of Ghana was meaningless unless it was part of the process of the total unification and liberation of the entire Afrikan continent.
