Dear Affail Monney, Good morning. Sir, do you honestly, deep down your heart feel that you deserve another term as GJA president? Maybe, for you, this is just an “image redemption mission.”

Truth is, whenever it had mattered most, you failed to defend those you lead; journalists.

Many have not forgotten your comments after the presidential press corps were involved in an accident. How you handled the destruction of the GBC journalist’s recorder by Stand Dogbe is still fresh on our minds.

In fact, at the time Professor Audrey Gadzepko spoke my mind when she said, “One of the responsibilities of the GJA is to advocate for its members.

More often that advocacy and that of its commitment to the welfare of its members is left to organizations such as the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA).

Media Foundation for West Africa is more robust when journalists are attacked. So, you have to worry.” You have some real courage sir.

Real vigorous courage to come up again and seek a renewal of your mandate. To be honest, I really don’t know much about your opponent(s).

But Indeed,In this instance, I would prefer “the angel I don’t know” to “the devil I know” My name is Kwakye Afreh-Nuamah,a colleague journalist and I don’t think you deserve another term as GJA President.
