Interior Minister falsely accuse Capt Koda, breaches his rights

Sometimes it beats me to know that literal idiocy is tolerated, especially when it is spewed from the buccal cavities of people positioned to serve the nation, as the members of the NDC in government. To say that Captain Koda broke jail and was a wanted fugitive is neither here nor there; an argument in mediocrity.

The 1979 revolution of the AFRC (Air Force Revolutionary Council) headed by Flt Lt Jeremiah John Rawlings was illegal. YES IT WAS ILLEGAL and he must be made to face the ICC in The Hague for war crimes committed by his lot, at the time. In fact, all the officers would have faced the guns at the firing squad were they arrested. After all, was it not a fact that JJ Rawlings was awaiting execution for treason when the monster Boakye Djan broke into the former’s jail and set him free to stage the 4th June Uprising? So the incarceration of Captain Koda at that time was also illegal. However you may weave this point you will never be able to make a legal issue out of an illegality.

In other words, just as the Minister of the Interior claims that Captain Edmund Koda was a fugitive having broken jail, fleeing from the murderous AFRC, so also was Rawlings a fugitive who perpetrated a more heinous crime by high-jacking the State and declaring himself its Head.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander, Mr Monster of The Interior. You hardly understand civility let alone the rule of law. That you should have the effrontery to pronounce judgment on Captain Koda when a more sadist jail breaker cum coup maker is on the loose is most unfortunate.

Your hatred for the flagbearer of the NPP, Hon Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, makes you want to strip him off his security head to leave him vulnerable. Well, your machinations have back-fired because you do not have a case that can be substantiated by sensible deliberations or justified by a legal backing.

Prosper Bani, I dare you to make a pronouncement against JJ Rawlings in the same manner as you did against Captain Koda. He probably would drive to your office and slap you like he used to do to Asiedu Nketia and his Ministers. I would suggest that you carried out your duties diligently until the NDC is beaten soundly at the polls on November 7. Then you can hand over in peace, and sit aside while you watch the professionals work magic under the Presidency of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo post January 7, 2017.

But will you hand over peacefully? It does not seem that your lot are committed to maintaining peace and stability in the country. I hope I am wrong on this particular assumption, though.

If you repeat the accusation against Captain Koda, make sure to do same against JJ Rawlings for the sake of justice and fairness. Ooops, but under your NDC government do Justice and fairness exist?

In the meantime, there are very salient issues affecting our daily survival that need to be addressed, so do not waste our time and yours in such trivial encounters. The nation has dire needs your lot can barely handle. Oh, and stop stealing the nation’s money and property for the NDC campaign. The country is not your property and the people are not your slaves!!!
