Ghanaians should give President John Mahama twenty years at the presidency and he still will not be able to fix Ghana, flag bearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has said.
For this reason, Mr Akufo-Addo says Mr Mahama and the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) must be voted out in the 7 December polls.
“This year, our suffering will end by the grace of God. President John Dramani Mahama has been a vice president for four years and President for another four years. He says he needs four more years to fix Ghana, but we have to ask him: what else is he coming to do for us? Give us more dumsor?” Mr Akufo-Addo asked when he spoke at a rally at Alajo in the Ayawaso Central Constituency.
“Give Mahama 20 more years and he still can’t do anything,” Mr Akufo-Addo said, adding: “The NHIS will work again, Free SHS is coming, one-district-one-factory policy is coming. God-willing, I will fulfill all these promises one by one.”
He said he could not understand why Ghanaians are hungry amidst plenty.
