– Ex-Prez Kufour Must Be Made To Pay For It From His Own Pocket As Judgment Debt

A former First Lady. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings told the Judgement Debt Commission that Political Interference by the government truncated the plan of Calf Cocoa International Ghana Ltd to start Operations in 2003. The former First Lady was too diplomatic when she appeared before the Commission on June 9th 2014. Political Interference from which government, was it the NDC of which her husband is the Founder or the violent prone NPP government of President Kufour who wanted to jail Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and take over her Company in 2003?

President J.A Kufour instructed the Minister of Finance NOT TO RELEASE THE CONCESSIONARY LOAN TO HER COMPANY IN 2003 PERIOD – THIS IS A FACT.

It will be recalled that the NPP government issued instructions to ALL INSTRUMENTS OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IN 2002 TO DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO PARALYSE AND DESTROY THE DECEMBER 31ST WOMEN’S MOVEMENT LED BY NANA KONADU AGYEMAN RAWLINGS. THIS IS ALSO A FACT.

That tribal and vicious government started withdrawing all Teachers on secondment to the Preparatory schools of the 31st December Women’s Movement nationwide as a first step. The second step was to instruct his National Security Advisor to come into the operations of the legally registered Women’s Movement which is involved in no security threatening activity, but emancipating and empowering women economically, socially, politically, and culturally across the political divide to improve their circumstances and make them active agents of National Development since the PNDC era to date, but Kufour’s violent prone NPP told Ghanaian’s that it was the Womens Wing of the NDC and must be destroyed. It was Kufour’s Cabinet Agenda against Ex-President J.J. Rawlings and his entire NDC including Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and the Authority behind all the political harassments of NDC members between 2001-2008 was President Kufour himself. It will be recalled that the NPP government was bent on destroying anything that stood out as creditable to former President Rawlings government and that was the only way the NPP could survive and shine. Corrupt and Fraudment civilians and former military officers who fled Ex-President Rawlings PNDC Regime in 1982 through conflict of political interest or as a result of un-authorised excesses by some individual soldiers would never forgive Rawlings and these were the characters that were packed at the National Security Secretariat. To them, no vengeance will be sweeter than finding Prez. Rawlings head on a plate.

It was because of these nasty state of affairs, and the criminalization of the entire NDC administration by Mr. J.A. Kufour which made thousands of cadres including this writer very angry and mad when the Rawlingses surprisingly decided to support Nana Akuffo Addo to become the undeserved President of Ghana during the 2012 general elections.

The Calf Cocoa Processing Factory situated at Kpone, near Tema was completed in 2000 at the cost of US$8.5million and was ready to commence operations when the NPP government came to power. The new government flatly refused to release the remaining $1.5million required for purchasing computers, staff vehicles, workers uniforms and office furnishing despite the then NPP government frequently proclaiming the need for more investment in cocoa processing.

All attempts by the December 31st Women’s Movement to attract investors as an alternative were always thwarted by Kufour’s government through the media. President Kofour even wrote to block all external funding for this Progressive Women’s Organizations.

He wrote to block all funding to the DWM from UN Agencies for HIV/AIDs campaign even though the DWM was arguably the best medium for HIV/AIDs education in Ghana due to its large membership and wide network. Several attempts to persuade Prez. Kufour to release the money for the factory to start operating proved futile. Ex-Prez. Kufour then asked Mr. Kofi Annan, the former U.N. Secretary General of the Common wealth who tried to get him to change his mind thus; Why should I put Arms into the hands of my ENEMY? Yes, because of J.J. Rawlings, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is Kufour’s enemy even though they are both full blooded Asantes. Anyway, despite all those nasty state of affairs, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings had wanted the NPP to win the 2012 general elections so that the NDC goes back to opposition out of bitterness and I beg to ask what bitterness is our slender Former First Lady harbouring? It she bitter than the remaining surviving cadres including this writer who have become paupers in their own NDC Party after supporting the Rawlingses since 1982 to 2000?

President Kufour later went to China and requested the Chineses Authorities (who held shares in the factory) to get rid of Caridem-Konadu’s company as partners in the project and promised to nominate a “better” company to partner the Chinese to operate the factory. His son or brother would have headed the company as the CEO. The interest on the US$10million loan was still accumulating interest so Ex-Prez. Kufour must be made to pay that Judgment Debt and all interest on it from his own pocket while his monthly salary as an Ex-President is blocked because he is very wicked and greedy –Yes, this is J.A. Kufour, the so-called gentle giant for you.. The Gospel according to the NPP says that if your party is in opposition, its members must not work to earn a living they must not eat and at worst, they must be wiped out from the earth. Ex-Prez. Kufour never thought the NPP will lose power at all. Is that clear?
