If the loan was taken on behalf of the country, not a personal loan, Mr Kuffuor was right in reallocating the funds. The Government should not be anybody's property, and the judgement money must be returned ASAP.

These partisan fools never cease to amaze. Granted that Kufuor refused to release the $1.8 million needed as working capital under the China Exim Bank loan agreement, Nana Konadu and her Caridem Corporation, shareholders with the Chinese in Calf Cocoa, received over $4m from the NDC government as judgement debt. The judgment debt included not just the working capital, but also additional funds to replace worn out equipment as a result of wear a tear.

If Clement thinks Calf Cocoa is not operating, then he should be asking what Konadu and her partners are doing with all that money? Or, perhaps, was Kufuor right in refusing to release the loan to Calf Cocoa? Mind you, it is a loan from China guaranteed by the government of Ghana. If Calf Cocoa fails to invest productively, Ghanaian tax payers will pick up the bill.

Clement may be you a small boy who did not know the situation in Ghana when rawllings took over from Dr Hilla Liman in 1981.
In 1981 when he took over, the dollar to the cedi was ghc.2.75 and when he left in 2001 the dollar to the cedi was ghc 7,050.00. Kuffour took it from ghc 7,050.00 to ghc 11,200 in eight years. Atta Mills,John Mahama and NDC took it from ghc.11,200 to right now ghc.30,200.00. This type of economy mess you do not talk about it and revisit economy thievery may God help Ghana.
