Inspector General of Police, John Kudalor has expressed satisfaction with his outfit’s performance in the policing of ballots in the electioneering process so far.
Speaking to JoyNews after touring some polling centers in Ashaiman Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Kudalor said he had been impressed with how police officers deployed across the 275 constituencies in the country had discharged their duties since the start of voting.
According to the IGP, special arrangements have also been made for areas considered 'hotspots' to guarantee the credibility of the polls.
He added that the police will remain professional as it works towards ensuring the safety of the ballots.
