The Minority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has asked government to allow Heads of Senior High Schools to share their opinions on matters concerning the free Senior High School Program.
He was speaking at the third Speech and Prize Giving day of Tamale Girls Senior High School in Tamale.
According to the minority leader, government should not intimidate school heads when they express their views on the SHS policy.

The Headmistress of Tamale Senior High School said though, parents and chiefs have contributed to the development of the school, the school still needed potable water to run its day to day activities.
The Pro Vice Chancellor of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Professor Seidu Alhassan who was the Guest Speaker emphasized the need to abolish some cultural believes which are deemed stumbling blocks to self-development.
