Black Stars in a training session
The Black Stars are expected to leave their training camp in Addis-Abba, Ethiopia, on Thursday, for Kenya, with a full and injury-free 20 man-squad for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) qualifier.
With defender Harrison Afful joining the team last night, coach Kwesi Appiah can boast of a full squad to accomplish his mission against the Harembee Stars of Kenya, on Saturday 8th September, 2018.
Earlier, Inter Milan midfielder, kwadwo Asamoah, was reported to be injured but this was proven to be false, giving the team enough confidence ahead of the match.
The team would have its last training session on Friday, at the Kasarani Stadium, Kenya, the venue of the match.
Coach Appiah, who had an injury blow to two of his defenders John Boye and Kassim Nuhu had to make a last to minute replacements for the later with Rashid Sumaila.
The Black Stars are looking to consolidate their position and qualifying chances from Group F, with a victory over Kenya on Saturday after beating Ethiopia 5-0 in Kumasi.
The full list of players making the trip are ; Lawrence Ati Zigi, Richard Ofori, Daniel Opare, Rashid Sumaila, Daniel Amartey, Andy Yiadom, Nicholas Opoku, Afriyie Acquah, Isaac Sackey, Edwin Gyasi, Frank Acheampong, Nana Ampomah, Raphael Dwamena, Thomas Partey, Majeed Waris, William Owusu, kwadwo Asamoah, Emmanuel ofori, Christian Atsu and Harrison Afful.
