hmm! this is a very serious problem. the issues have been well argued out but how are we going to help solve them? this is simple we know that the resource endowed south fall on we northerners for food, we are aware of the several human resource persons we have yet they leave the north for Accra to settle as their employment may demand and refuse to look back home. A bird will fly so high into the skies but finally it will come down to feed, lets see whether they will come home after they have left nothing there.but "Insha Allah" it shall be well but we need to start from somewhere.

When did secondary education begin in the Ashanti Region?
Its the same like the north. All the top schools, apart from Prempeh college which began in 1959, the rest all began in the 1960's so your excuse is untenable.

Ashantis developed Ashanti Region n are still developing. If u check the major buildings n employment situation in Ghana we can use a/r as a good case study. Ashantis don't have to rely on government. They are not satisfied with their current conditions n therefore do not condone mediocrity.
When they work hard n acquire wealth other ethnic groups say they are greedy. How about that....
In essence,northerners need to start develop the north since charity begins at home.

There were southners who used to go to school in the north to take advantage of that.The current corruption scandals hitting the mahama government involves mostly northners.Northners are just as intelligent as southners.The problem with the north is, the sons and daughters of the north don't want to sacrifice and stay in the north. The conflicts as usually ,is the major reason successful northners move to the south. The district Assembly common fund was established to address inequalities in the distribution of the national cake.I almost lost my life during the conga and nanumba conflict doing my service in bimbilla.So do you think I would be comfortable accepting posting to the North? A lot of money has been pump ed to north since Rawlings time. The intermittent conflicts is preventing both domestic and foreign investors from risking their capital in the north. Ihave intelligent northern friends its just that the one bad nut could change the taste of the nuts.
