  Don't let IQ fools you.
  It not explains the whole of intelligence - besides, a High IQ doesn't prevent stupid behaviour and nonsense beliefs.

  You should not go as far to bow down your heads. One could be humble without doing this.

  Instead, you must persist, pursue and value knowledge;
  
  Take South Korea for instance: it was a poor, undeveloped country 50 years ago, now they are prosperous.
  What they did? They pursued education.
  
  Not all knowledge is useful, though. To prevent being prey of useless or harmful ideas, theories and etc, you can need to read and instruct themselves about reasoning errors, cognitive biases and fallacies. If you know them, you can avoid them.
