Eric, Africa stretches from Tangier to Cape of Good Hope. Christianity was in parts of Africa long before Constantine made it compulsory for Europeans to accept Christianity as the sole religion within the Roman Empire. Again, Christianity existed in Africa long before Mohammed was even born. FYI, St Mark was born on Africa soil. St Augustine of Hippo, was born on African Soil too. And, they were Africans by nationality. The nonsensical colour crap did not exist back then. It was help if you do a bit of research before generalising.
