Honestly, Ghanaians have not been fair to Mahama. Considering what is happening in this country today and what Mahama did, it is obvious a we have been unfair to him. Look at what the writer said he did to solve the problem.

Yes, after JM went into contract with IPP to purchase his 'TAKE OR PAY' barges etc., weren't we still under DUMSOR through to the first quarter of 2017? NPP kept telling Ghanaians that the problem with DUMSOR wasn't about excess capacity but lack of funds to purchase fuel to power Aboadze, Ameri, etc. It took a delegation of Nana's govt to visit Nigeria to show us 'mercy' to give us fuel. Stop throwing dust in our eyes. Today, NDC is telling Ghanaians that they started FSHS when indeed they made several adverts to tell the whole nation that the GAME CHANGER POLICY of NADAA was '419'. Even now, NDC is telling us that they brought NHIS when, again, during Prez Kuffours time NDC parliamentarians walked out of parliament when the bill was being debated. JM, NEVER AGAIN....After all, he says he's a DEAD GOAT, CAN'T USE 4YRS TO SOLVES THE PROBLEMS OF GHANA, NEEDS A 'HONEYMOON' IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT HE'S GIVEN THE NOD IN DEC.

We had a deficit of 300mw but mahatma brought in about 1500. Why did we have a deficit? Well not enough rain is partly the cause but the generating capacity of the plants would have been adequate if enough gas was purchased. So what is the point of the addition 1500 or so capacity if we don't immediately need all of it but still don't have the fuel to power it. The writer is just doing propaganda mixing the truth with lies

Akuffo said "y3ti sika so, nso 3kom di y3n" (we are hungry yet we sit in the midst of plenty -meaning natural resources which could be converted to the benefit of the people if utilized correctly)
Bawumia said with all the money borrowed by NDC, that money could be well used diligently to develop the country and Ghana would never go to the IMF or the World Bank to borrow again

Indeed this is truth. The problem today is mismanagement by NPP regarding financing of power. The NPP administration owe the power producers over 2 billion dollars and cannot pay because they have borrowed recklessly and the debtors are collecting now.

This issue of dumso is not the same as when JM faced dumso. The earlier dumso was due to lack of Infrastructure infrastructure which JM solved by building four new production plants. If the government does not take care this issue will become the last nail in the coffin they have placed our economy in.

NPP problem now is not only this power issue but the financial dumso they have created since they cannot even service the debt but are only service the interest of the debt.
