Asamoah Boateng,the minister of chieftancy affairs is a puppet and clone of Akufo Ado,he should be ashamed of himself if he calls himself the minister at the very institution he manages to say there is nothing wrong for President Akufo Ado to ask a chief ti stand up to greet he the president,Asamoah Boateng must resign his position as minister of chieftancy affairs because he do not respect the very institution he manages, this Asamoah Boateng does not show respect to our chiefs by his statement, this man was appointed minister and within some months his wife was on rampage slapping people at the airport

Our chiefs must speak for themselves for the have allowed there politicians to strip them ofvtheir ebviablevregalua and authority for far too long. When politicians need land they run to the traditional Lords, bug the minerals embedded in the land, the chiefs and traditional authorities, the owners and custodians of the land and culture, cannot have any authority over their own property or heritage. Is this not a contradiction and manipulation by the elites? I expect our revered chiefs to speak and act with authority about the way politicians have taken them for granted. Politicians are looting state resources and are growing richer while the poor are poorer. Politicians are advocating for immoral values which are against traditional and moral values, but the traditional custodians of the land are silent, doing nothing about redeeming the image of their future they are mandated to safeguard. I expect chiefs to speak against the president's arrogance and unwillingness to sign the bill before him passesd by Parliament to protect the family against sexual immorality. Why are our chiefs afraid of protecting what belongs them, their own cultural values? If our chiefs cannot defend and protect their own heritage, then how.can their subjects trust them or respect them? A word to the wise is enough!

How relevant and revered are our chiefs today? They have lost it all to bribery and gargantuan levels of corruption. No chief in Ghana has any honor left. To say "our revered chiefs" tells me how naive and out of touch you are with contemporary issues. These guys collected chunks of bribes from Chinese and other foreign nationals, through their Ghanaian front men and allowed galamsey to soar in their respective areas of jurisdiction. Water bodies are destroyed. Food, vegetables ans our fish stock are now soaked in high levels of mercury making it dangerous to health. If you think your chief has any honor left, just continue to worship them and stop wasting our ears with silly articles.
