  I've found the tax code to be vague. It's also ambiguous in that it uses vocabulary that it doesn't explain. It's like a text without context. Most of concepts mentioned in the act does not apply to most Ghanaians.

  I've found the tax code to be vague. It's also ambiguous in that it uses vocabulary that it doesn't explain. It's like a text without context. Most of concepts mentioned in the act does not apply to most Ghanaians.
  
  The act does not define income yet it mentions other types of or sources of income without explaining for example what constitutes capital gains versus ordinary gains.
  
  The one thing that I got from reading the text is that the president is exempt from tax. It also didn't elaborate what kind of tax the president is exempt from etc.
  
  It doesn't describe or enumerate who is under the jurisdiction of this bogus act.
  
  It fails to mention inflation, tax rates for future years etc.
  
  The who thing is a shame- i.e. you can't figure out the tax that is due to you by the information they've provided except offcouse they can rewrite and recalculate how much you owe them after you have filed a tax return.
  
  Whoever wrote the tax code was either drunk or was copying from another text without passing the information through his head.
