  The Volta Region of cause is a FAIR CHOICE site --but it must not be at the coast --however an inland site close to the Volta River will be ideal---only objection is its closeness to the nation of TOGO ---I don't think Ashanti will be a good choice -The --Eastern or Central Region-an -inland location, -near a River stands a chance of being a good choice .

  Ghana does not need a new administrative city, we must improve the one we already have. Of course we can develop industrial and commercial parks all over the country, but Accra has to remain the administrative capital.

  As president, what measures did Mahama put in place to decongest Accra, nothing. So, if he has no idea as to what causes Accra to chock or become congestion, what do you think will happen to his new proposed capital?
  
  When Mahama open his mouth, he has people who become like houseflies spreading his pathogen-filled message like Afranie.
  
  Now, Afranie, my next question to you is, what is the simple antidote to urban migration? The answer to that question is what Accra is and will continue to be. Cast you mind back to the 60s, 70s, and was Accra like that, if no, what caused the uncontrolled congestion, and did Mahama provide that answer to you?
  
  John Mahama is the stupidest man ever and will continue to be because cannot think. He cut sod for the construction of a $10billion "Hope City" somewhere in Ghana and where is the foundation of that city which he said would employ 300 million people?

What an incompetent idea!!! I agree with "True Talk" that our current capital must rather be improved.

  We can't even but food in Ghana and you want to borrow US$10 billion to build a new capital. Sir do you think at all?
  What we need is a new subway system or a sky train. If we need a new capital, you John Mahama is not the one to build it.
  Your Mandate is to help calm the economy, reduce food prices sand bring common sense into governance and not to build a new capital.
