  Waah look at this paid bot! who is subtly suggesting 24hr economy as issuing timetable for business and institutions. Where did you get that from by implying ILO law approving 8hrs mean regimental meanwhile you suggest it is possible with improved economy and who creates that environment. At least our imports as a nation should inform you how a 24hr economy can meet those demands to create jobs and move the economy from taxation to production.

  Tokyo is the only city deemed to be running a 24-hour economy. This is due to developed infrastructure coupled with the absence of crime or well protected public safety. New York City does not truly have a 24-hour economy. It is only a small part of Downtown NYC that has a semblance of a 24-hour economy. Most residents of NYC dared not go out at night for anything due to serious crime.

  It is a fact that some factories in Ghana run 24 hours production.
  Workers who start work at 6 a.m. and 12 midnight go to work on empty stomach.
  So care must be taken that food is always available for workers who work on shift, throughout the day, dawn and night.
  Thus, a country that what to improve upon its manufacturing, trading and and catering services must synchronize manufacturing, trading and catering.
  Also, in some countries like China, North Korea and Russia even construction is carried on during the night, especially when concrete prefabricated panels are used in the construction of bridges, hospitals,schools and human habitation.
  From 2010 to 2020 Russia has through the 24 hour business errazed down her 15 story building and build 24 story buildings in its place.
  Some of us who have business in the rural areas of Ghana travel through the night as we don't want disappoint our customers on Fridays.
  So, 24 hours economy means that I must have Anlo yakayake to buy at the Sogakofe Hospital in the night, with some fried fish.

  It is possible if there are industries and people work on shifts. It used to be, I remember in Takoradi, when I was a child. We had a lot of industries then. Some people worked in the morning, some in the afternoon and others in the night. The only problem is that all the industries have been collapsed - Pioneer Tobacco, Paper Convention, Chocolate Factory. There was the habour - Black Star Line, Liner Agency, Cargo Handling, etc. There was the railway station. Workers worked round the clock, then. Unless Mahama is going to resurrect all the collapsed factories and jobs.
