  The sons of the Volta Region who were members of NLC and June 4 Movement never promote the interest of the Volta Region.
  In 1966 NLC send over 250,000 Ghanaian workers home, some of whom remained unemployed until they dead in the early 1990, the majority of them were Ewhes who were employees of the Workers' Brigade.
  William Halley who comes from Anyako went to the extent of depriving the people of that town free water.
  On 17th April, 1967 when young officers Yeboah, Arthur and Osei Poku staged a coup to bring Kwame Nkrumah back Lt. Colonel Asase, Major Sowu and Major Achab and others refused to restore the government of the CPP led by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
