  This idiot should spare us the nonsense. Every currency in the world save Russian ruble and Chinese Yuan have had value depreciate relative to the U.S. dollar because of high interest rates in the U.S. High interest rates result in investors moving money to the U.S to take advantage of the high returns there. For investors to do that, they have to convert their currencies into dollars, so the demand for the dollar increases and it value appreciate relative to other currencies. If more advanced economies have depreciated currencies, how much more an underdeveloped such as ours in which imports are so attractive?
