Laws should raise the acts of acid attacks to the same level as attempted murder, thereby increasing the punishment for that crime. Only lengthy prison sentences will serve as a deterrent against acid attacks.

One of the punishments should be that the victim is allowed to pour the same amount if not more on their attackers (Moses law). These attacks are unacceptable.
