  The writer's plea to Alan's supporters not to waste their votes to someone who obviously can't win is commendable, but I would rather prefer a different approach. My preference is for the NPP leadership to meet with Alan to address his grievances and appeal to him to end his campaign. I doubt if Alan will be so recalcitrant to reject an attempt to meet with him.

  The only wasted votes will be any votes cast for the corrupt and incompetent NPP, a party that has intentionally and systematically looted Ghana to the bone while mismanaging the nation's economy. Any vote for the NPP and its incompetent steering wheel dancing clown Aplanke Bawumia will be tantamount to inviting a continuation of thievery, looting, incompetence, mismanagement and neglect of the nation.
