  We don't need a coup to change the system of government. But sincerely, I agree with you, that "DEMOCRAZY" like we see everywhere, is not good for Ghana. We need a new system that will ensure ACCOUNTABILITY for PROGRESS.

You see, I thought of the National House of Chiefs leading this debate. But unfortunately, we cannot rely on them. Why? Because some of them are even more corrupt than the politicians. The only solution will be to allow the people to decide through a national voting. Your thoughts. Please, you see democracy even in America is questionable.
  On this note. Please a fruit of thought. Think about it. The incumbent leader loses the election and then organize people to attack the Jubilee House. Kill some of the security folks. Nearly, hanged the VP. But has now won the election. Your thoughts. Thanks.

To govern as a nationalist can be dangerous as well as to govern as an employee. Reason. Please come with me. As an employee you may be seeking to make a living no matter what. Whilst as a nationalist you may be seeking to be inward looking instead of seeking common good. The question then is this: Where do we draw the line. You see in the Western World the leaders are after prestige. Because they are already rich and looking only for fame. In contrast, our leaders are job seekers. Trying hard to make it. Not only that, but also to make it big. Mostly being pushed by their immediate family, supporter's then by their numerous concubines. All that being said. Where then is the way forward? Can we take a deep breath. You see in the Bible this type of roadblock always called for the Isreal to take action. Consider what happened at the bank of the red sea. When the people of God begun to cry. What did God tell Moses? (Stop crying to me and raise the rod in your hand). Probably you will ask me where is the rod for us? Answer: Where are the fine Ghanaians? Intelligent. The land endowed with lots of minerals. Even Crude Oil then now Lithium. What about the Cocoa? Bauxite? Manganese? Iron? May be what we need now is a NEW WORLD ORDER? But COMING FROM WHERE? Please, help me. I need some guidance. Thanks

  To Ebo Buckman, tell Alan that after the next election, his "Afafrantor party" will cease to exist. Alan thinks that NPP leadership should be similar to that of a monarchy where the baton is passed on to the in line to the throne. The leadership of the NPP is chosen through primary election which Alan is fully aware so, why was he bitter after losing the primaries? If he was an experienced politician, he could have seen that as part of politics and still move on with the group.
  
  Why is Kennedy back to the fold? The other day, I hear that Akoto is on the campaign trail with Bawumia which shows how matured those folks are. We win or lose together as a group with united front rather than "individualism" mindset that causes most political parties to wither away into oblivion.

  Yes we do needd a transformative approach to government. The western style democracy has failed not only Ghana but all Third world countries.
  Demoracy means the people have spoken , the people have selected their spokesperson. Democray in third world countries should be based at the grass root level.
  Multiparty system breeds corruption and nepotism. National development should be government and private sector interaction. This is only achieved if our Financial systems are designed to be solid and independenct of the Jubilee house. Our Judicial system needs to be examined carefully since the Judges are too partisan or do I have to suggest that they are inexperienced or just do not understand Jurisprudence. If you were nominated by the President, that does not mean the judge owes the President a favor. The President just fulfilled his /her constitutional duty to nominate. The said Judge does not owe the President anything rather he/she owes Ghana a duty and responsibility.
  We need to pick our leaders from the bottom up. That is what the Chinese system does. So at the Upperlevel, the leaders owe their society a great responsibility. This is the cause of China fast advancement.
  Let Africans invent their own. By the way we are too bogged down on Chieftaincy but thois institution needs a radical change.

  I am afraid our politicians, academics and leaders use words they do not understand or even when they understand them, do not know how to put those words or related policies into practise. Go and ask any Ghanaian what the transformational leadership that Mr Alan Kyerematen is proposing and has been propagating means, and I am very sure they would not know. How can they therefore commit or implement what they do not understand? We need a leadership that seek just to do the simple things like providing the a basic things for Ghanaians very well: like providing food, good water and health. Once we see those things well provided for, something like corruption will be easily to tackle.

  You claim the system in Ghana lacks a check and balancing and that public institutions are often extensions of the President's will. Kyeremanten was a part of this NPP government until he decided to bolt and form his own party at the last minute and run for President. Can you name a single time while Kyeremanten served in Akufo-Addo's cabinet that Kyeremanten asked his government to address the issue of checks and balances that you raised in your article? Floyd's death at the hands of the Police had nothing to do with Trump's loss; Trump lost his election in 2020 because his mismanagement of the border as well as voter discontent on his giving huge tax breaks to the wealthy at the expense of working Americans, while some were alarmed at Trump's dictatorial tendencies. It's disingenuous to hear Kyeremanten and his supporters speak of a lack of proper checks and balances in the government when he was more than glad to serve in the NPP government as a Cabinet Minister and never once trying to have his government embark on making changes that will bring the result that he desired.

  Alan has been with NPP since its formation. What new approach has he which he did not bring to the table. Recently he bragged that he was the originator of most of the NPP policies. See where it has brought us.

Do you sincerely think that if Alan had won the NPP flagbearership primaries he would have broken away.The man is so desperate and full of himself and thinks that he must get a nomenclature ie Presidential candidate to satisfy his hungry ego.
