  Discrimination is vested in religion, especially the Abram religions. Thus ware around the world are instigated by religious people, slave trade, colonization, racial segregation in the US were all defended by it adherents with the Bible, not to forget Reverend Woiwode's apartheid ideology in Southern Africa.
  The war in Yugoslavia in 1999 was instigated by NATO and fought on religious grounds, which led to the Balkanization of that country.
  Al -Assad of Syria was overthrown a week ago and that was also on religious grounds. In that case just as it was in Yugoslavia when Catholic Croats fought Orthodox Christian Serbs.
  The war currently in Ukraine have a religious connotation, in this case two Orthodox Christians and Russians fighting each other.
  Least we forget about the same religious extremism in Sudan, Israel and the Middle East.
