  Once again,back to square I. Some Ghanaians do not understand the sports portfolio,thus countless square pegs in round holes. I remember a former executive chairman of the national sports council, Mr R .T. Orleans Pobee. He obtained a degree in P E. in France, taught and headed a secondary school before being appointed to this post, but even he did not have it easy in the seventies. A prior knowledge in sports administration, psychology and it's various aspects is a pre requisite to performing well in that sector. But what do we see ? Both npp and ndc have taken the sports ministry for a political musical chairs, appointing all sorts of people to the post. This will not work. Let's stop the childish promotion of people who are on the perifery of sports but do not know the nitty gritty of sports administration. We have got many qualified people who are not political but will do the job for free. Let's stop the politics and sit up or Ghana sports is doomed.

  There are a lot of sports disciplines in Ghana but what is needed is a strong financially independent person who can tame the FIFA sheltering monsters at the FA.
