  I find it difficult to understand how the "the tables for cash" event organized by a private entrepreneur under the auspices of or, in collaboration with the trade ministry, can be deemed as an act of corruption by the said Ministry or, even the NPP govt at the time.
  
  The strategy by the private entrepreneur is a well-known one which is widely employed all over the world - especially at high-profile marketing and fund-raising events in the most advanced countries.
  
  It is almost embarrassing that grown adults and well-educated - and even Ghanaians with a wide travel experience in this day and age, are screaming foul about this exemplary scheme. It's a shame that some of us find it so difficult to outgrow the norms and practices of the villages from whence we originate.
  
  If the funds that had been raised from this venture had been misused, of course, then there would be sufficient reason to rant and rail but as it is, the ORAL group should be very circumspect about cases they take on. Chasing after shadows and ghosts will not only distract their attention from other more serious cases, but it will also diminish the public enthusiasm and the great importance of the whole exercise.

  You forgot to mention the Ceciliah Dapaah Scandal. Any time I change cedis to dollars or vice versa I have to show my passport. I also get receipts for the transaction. All Ceciliah Dapaah has to do to prove that she had not ...

  You forgot to mention the Ceciliah Dapaah Scandal. Any time I change cedis to dollars or vice versa I have to show my passport. I also get receipts for the transaction. All Ceciliah Dapaah has to do to prove that she had not stolen the thousands of USD and Euros found in her house is to produce receipts for how she was able to acquire all the foreign currency. So far, she's not able to because there are no receipts. The incoming government needs to get to the bottom of how she acquiered these monies.
