Manasseh was once a promising journalist with a bright future until he lost his credibility to sensationalism and lies. This Anas wannabe even had the effrontery to lie about Ibrahim Mahama in his book (of all places) without even cross-checking his 'facts' and had to shamefully apologize. Advising Mahama whilst trying to portray Akufo Addo as Kim Young Un of North Korea is not only disingenuous but diabolical. Akufo Addo is no saint but not the demon, this journalist with zero conscience is trying to portray him to be. Fortunately, the good people of Ghana know this

I'm also here in the US where rules and good governance make the system work to a large extent...not perfect but one of the better managed systems. It seems to me that, currently, the only institutions that are working well and looking out for the benefit of Ghana are the CSOs and individuals who are selfless like yourself.

Some of us knew the fact that Mahama's desire to not be seen to be favoring Northern Ghana, and his total neglect of that part of the country caused is defeat in the 2016 elections. He was later to be reminded on this failure by both Bawumia and Akuffo-Addo himself. I personally could not comprehen Mahama's decision to delay giving autonomy to the various campuses of the then UDS while he was bsuy creating technical Universities in Ho, Cape Caosts, Kumasi on the grounds that the then polytechnics were not yet ready for such conversion. it is pathetic that the BOle- Bamboi road remains the most deplorable road since I grew up in the North. I northern Ghana can now put forward two candidates for president, it is thnaks to the expanded access to education which the early pioneers politicians fought for. The challenge with present day, northern politicians is that, they now live in luxurious mansions in the south and cannot appreciate the reality of poverty on the ground. Mahama failed to deliver as president the first time because of he dithers in decision-making and expects his appointees to do the right things. Fault the NPP or not, they have given two universities to the north, created two regions, including Mahama own. What prevented Mahama from doing these? This time, he needs to go big or simply go home.
