  You dont even seem understand ECG problems. When you want to extend lights to a newly built house or factory or property and you go and ask for the process: Pick a form and fill to apply. They will come and measure to determine whether you need one pole or more. The guy who comes to measure will charge you. One pole connection is 14,000 Ghc, two poles over 20,000 and 3 poles 30,000 etc. All these monies they just collect it without receipt. That tells you that money goes to someone pocket. The only money you pay into ECG account is the metre ( about 2000 ghc) even though we are told the metre is supposed to be free. So there is a lot of monet leaking from the system in addition to system losses. Then procurement. This is where they steal the money. In this country government can finance 80% of projects with internal resource. ECG, Ghana water Company, Ghaha Postal service,Ghana Gas, you name it, all should be generating revenue for government. Staff working in these organizations can pay themselves and remit government some good revenue. Any government that is able to do this will reset Ghana on the path to development
