  Awards are not usually for the very best or staunch participants all the time. sometimes they are in recognition of certain efforts. a certain small effort becomes the foundation for a bigger achievement later. so probably that is why JAK was awarded. best teacher and farmer awards do not go to the oldest in the profession or those who tired the most. those in the limelight are noticed easily and that's it. many a time when a president is sworn in all sorts of institutions come to award them. Doctor of this,Doctor of that and you ask yourself what they have achieved within three or two months to merit those awards. but these are realities and I don't think it has happened to JAK alone. when we first gave land to Catholics to establish their churches we were not catholics and in same fashion JAK is not a catholic he can still receive catholic comendations. Afterall what at all is that award going to do for his soul? Knighthood and all awards are created by men and I don't think Mr.Sagoe should be worried. THAT AWARD IS NOT A PASSPORT TO HEAVEN.
