Please, forward this article to the presidency ASAP. Duties on imported vehicles?, Yes. But they must be reasonable, not punitive. Who makes these draconian and inhumane laws?
We assemble vehicles in Ghana. From luxury cars like the VW Touareg to cheaper ones like the Kia Picanto. Vehicle assembled in Ghana have no VAT, NHIL or Duty on them so what is this insistence on importing used cars?
great,govt must do something about import duties on cars.Cars are not luxury items but necessities
