  The amount of time used for prayers and attending churches has grown exponentially in recent years. Instead of people being practical by developing skills, working with the skills and innovating new technology , all their time is spent on asking God to provide their needs. The westerners who brought churches to Africa has abandoned it as they spent nearly all the their time working hard to improve their economy. Africans on the other hand go begging them for loans when they succeed from their handwork. We will continue to be slave to them if we are not practical. They keep innovating new technology but we are innovating churches. You will find a church when you walk anywhere in Ghana for 30 minute but not a factory or a serious business for the same amount of minutes. Though, churches have some positives in helping educate us on some mores of society, the time and effort spent on doing this is extremely high. Many are even using it as a way of business, exploiting the vulnerable. In my view we need to change this mentality if we want to grow our economy and develop fast.

  As a practicing Christian in a Bible-believing church, what Christians have failed Ghana is an un-Christian life they live from the pulpit to the pew. You can hardly find a Christian who lives a holy life in all the offices. Both pastors and members are corrupt, and I sometimes wonder how many will eventually make it to heaven. Check, Ghana is more than 70% Christian, but that is just for the statistics.

  Since no church compels anyone to attend, no one should blame his inefficiency on the church. It's the individual not the church that's stalling any growth. In my view, the church rather spurs growth because it teaches hardwork, honesty, truthfulness and overall righteousness. It's the individual who refuses to work with these principles. Without the church, things will be worse for us

  The church doesn't care where you get your money. When people bring huge sums and do not question where it is coming from. The NPP's Adu Boahen, who was recently arrested, is a preacher, right? Bo me sika tuo guy. So people are compelled to steal from their work and bring it to church.

You can pray till thy kingdom come your problems cannot be solved yet the Pastors will continue to take your money in thites and collection. All of them are the same from Duncan to Obinim.

  There are times when you see a person opening his mouth and you see from the beginning that he is going to tell a lot of lies.
  I am almost 72 years old so in 1957 I was four years old. I witnessed the opposition of both Christians and Muslims to our independence.
  The matter was that in the 1950s there were less Christians and Muslims in Ghana.
  If the hold of the Abram religions on Ghana today was as it was in 1957 the majority of Ghanaians would have voted to still be a British colony. It is stupid for a priest of the Christian Church to be saying that they give education and health to Ghanaians.
  We buy both education and health from the churches. Especially after the Rawlings devolution which has given the power to the churches to swindle every Ghanaian.
  When Rawlings was about to make education and health cash-and-carry it was the church that hailed it.
  It is so stupid that those holy stupids will stand somewhere, beat their chest and be content that they took education, health, sanitation and water from their members and commercialize them.
  Religion is an opium of the people, so it makes people stupid and mad.
  
  The churches were against anything that is Ghanaian, that pupil and students who witnessed traditional dance, culture and singing were punished at Monday parade in school.
