  The fact that the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) is using guerrilla tactics to arrest the legislator makes the entire issue even more complex. It has seriously damaged the credibility of the government. Notably, the Member of Parliament (MP) does not work at the airport, and his allegations are likely based on credible information he has received from those on the ground. The most prudent course of action for the government would have been to collaborate with the MP to investigate the matter for the benefit of Ghana. As it stands, it appears that the government is acting as a devil's advocate, denying knowledge of the situation and further intimidating individuals. This is disgraceful.

  The whole idea of intimidation by the government through the security apparatus is shameful and tactless. The impression being created is that the government has something to hide and that precisely was the reason why hon Felix K Ofosu unable to get himself composed rather became emotional to the extent that he sounded incoherent with a lot of inconsistencies in his narration
