  Most of the chiefs lack innovation. They have every resource on their lands but can't even think of ways to generate enough perpetual wealth to take care of themselves, let alone their people. All they do is sell the resources for cheap and squander the money. After the money runs out, they languish in need, poverty, greed, and corruption. How do you involve such unproductive group in national development?

  The chiefs nowadays Are corrupt Especialy the Ashanti chieffs they sold their lands could not able to used the funds they generated to developed their communinitie.take a look at galamsey prone areas of Ashanti Eastern western,Central checked what happend.The Chiefs from mining areas will come out to attacked the Government for help.Some of the chiefs sell out cocoa farms for galamsey,their community cemetery you name it.Look At Great Chief of Assin kokyea of central region,Chief Nana Otou Siribour Asante Dwabeng,Chief Giana of Sunyani Sub community how this Chief developed his community.They they took step and government support them.

  To promote empowering Chieftaincy ; without empowering them to spread the proper effective ACCOMMODATION
  of other tribes and other cultural groups is huge failure that would lead to the Fall of a nation which is made of different tribes.
  Empower them to spread Strength in Diversity. Many do not do that NOW.
  LOOK AT AFRICA NOW..... TOO MANY TRIBAL CONFLICTS.
