A person who is charged in a court of law must have right to legal representation, that is clearly stated in the United Nation's Convention on Human Rights and Ghana's 1992 Constitution.

Are doctors criminals for treating criminals injured in the course of their criminal acts? Criminal lawyers who defend criminals charged with crimes are doing so because the law of the land specifically states that all persons charged with crimes in any court of law are entitled to be represented by legal counsel. Those laws granting accused persons the right to legal representation in criminal matters were written by Parliament, not by the lawyers defending the accused.
