  It' folks like this sycophantic writer who make it possible for some African leaders to twist their countries' constitutions and stay in office way beyond the time prescribed in those constitutions. Mahama has just announced that he has no intention of seeking a third term in office, yet here you are making useless noise that people of Ghana can demand an amendment to the constitution to allow him to contest a third term should he perform successfully in office. Where in the constitution does it state that an amendment can be carried out to allow a third term if a President has performed very successfully in their second term?
