  Very well argued piece. Indeed, GITEC does not need a PhD to head it. Ubtil Dr Ginapor, the exective directors did not have phDs to my knowledge. The proliferation of titles which politician covet to boost their egos needs ...

  Very well argued piece. Indeed, GITEC does not need a PhD to head it. Ubtil Dr Ginapor, the exective directors did not have phDs to my knowledge. The proliferation of titles which politician covet to boost their egos needs addressing, and I think GITEC is doing a grood job. One is struck that a adjunct professor whose title is clearly stated on the University of Utah webpage would boldly declare herself a full orofessor without being corrected. All those Ghanaians who ahve ran to Nicarauga to claims universities need to be brought into order before they pillaged this country. So far GITEC has done a good job but it is also fair to ask how Dr Jinapor got his professorship; what body of work led to his promottion in such a fasttrach manner? I have searh google scholar and can't find ay serious published scholarly work by him. In fairness, he could simply have been calling himself a DR , ED and people can judge him by his output instead of pressumed accadmic rank
