  That's a big lie. The only valid reason why most populations will not support a coup is the bitter aftertaste and the futility of past experiences. The lack of achievement after all the hassle, harassment and calls to sacrifice. I will not mention the unnecessary spillage of blood, because we all can testify to the eagerness of most politicians to shed blood in pursuit of power and wealth.
