  The USA intervened in Libya and Iraq, and where do these two countries now stand? Nothing but unwanted chaos. If the UN weren't a fangless organization, a world leader like Trump would not be getting his way by acting like a modern day evil and tyrannical Hitler. Trump and his sycophants could care less about how things end up in Venezuela, for it's all about getting back at Maduro for personal reasons and then exploiting Venezuela's oil for the benefit of USA corporations that agree to pump donations to Trump's campaign covers and other agenda's that he needs private funding to for since Congress will not fund his camouflaged racist proposals. Unfortunately for the world, demented tyrant Trump will have his way for the next three years since Congress and the USA courts appear to be helpless in standing up to Trump's devious and destructive threats and incursions into other nations. And it will only get worse since Trump will always try to attack other nations in an attempt to divert attention away from from his abysmal domestic performance that has seen him garner nothing but very low ratings among USA citizens. Trump's bullying and attacks of other nations as well as his misuse of his Presidential powers to to go after his perceived enemies or critics will be curtailed only when the USA Supreme Court stops being a politically tinged court that continues to tell Trump that as President, he can do anything he damn pleases. The Republicans in Congress will also have to place country above politics and stop enabling Trump's erratic agenda, an agenda that in the long run will only cause more grief to their USA citizens than the countries that Trump is currently bullying. Voting Trump back into office is similar to leaving a child alone overnight in a candy factory. With Trump's huge ego and and penchant for bullying others every step of the way to silence them, it comes as no surprise that with his immense Presidential powers along with being in control of the world's most advanced and best equipped military, that he will act with impunity and complete disregard for the rights or opinions of others. The likelihood of a another regime change in Venezuela is is on the high, for the Trump and the CIA both love the idea of interfering in the internal affairs of other nations. With regard to the lady with Nobel Peace Prize on her head, the question is, "What peace efforts has undertaken over the years to warrant being accorded that crown?".

  This is a stupid article written by a buffoon writer. It should never have been published. Invading another country and seizing its president contravenes with any international law and norms. No matter how despicable and despotic the president is does not give any country the impetus to invade that country and cease its president. The president was accused without any evidence of engaging in drug smuggling. We all know it is not about drug smuggling but about the oil. Let us call spade a spade. How will the world react if China invades Taiwan and cease the president with China using provocation from the Taiwan president as the excuse. It is just a matter of time.

You may have a point, but you definitely got it wrong by calling Mr Thompson a buffoon.
