  The ministers you mentioned are not prophets. So if they are silent in the prophetic area, there is a reason. They are not called to be prophets, and cannot be the standard for ministry in that domain. What about the church in general, which has failed to produce the type of believers expected after their salvation? Will you call for arrest all ministers?
  
  People go for treatment and die. Why has no medical officer been arrested and prosecuted?
  
  People make errors, while others do things to defraud the community. We need to discern the two instances and other spheres of life, and not the ministers of the church alone.

  This piece is specific and direct on prophecies; the other things you mentioned, yes, but not the focus here. Ghana used not to be like this, but we have had prophets all along; as I said, we are conditioned to think a certain way and never to scrutinize things, especially related to spirituality. But of course, the article never condemned anyone; it touched on all sides and consequences of these developments. If you read all the entire article, you probably would see it balances everything. We are trained to take things, no matter how wrong they appear. Christ is the module for christianity and we all know his ministry and the works of the prophets in the bible. If a prophet becomes political, you will be dragged because politics is a dirty game.

  God is not in a book. Religious books were written by men, mostly by early monks and other clergy since they were among the most educated ones in those days. God is a mystery, and so is the world. Some intelligent men centuries ago tried to explain away how the world came about, and much of their religious writings were self-serving and rarely opened to criticism. Rulers in ancient Rome and other countries played a pivotal roe in the writing of religious books. These religious writings used self-anointed prophets as means of getting many of their citizens to believe in religious teachings. I'm reminded of the silly claim of the Catholic Church that a Pope is infallible when he speaks about God, and many today still believe in that religious deception. All these so-called prophets are self-anointed humans, ever pretending to be receiving messages from God. All prophets are religious liars.

Churches once upon a time in Ghana enjoyed a tremendous amount of respect, but that public respect has eroded significantly with the advent of the many hallucinating quack prophets who now specialize in delusional boiler-plate fake prophecies.
