  I am wondering whether this writer is the Ghanaian PhD holder who had to advertise in Dubai before getting club-going Filipina as wife last two years.
  
  NIGERIA followed GHANA when General Murtala Muhammed was killed by Lt Col Dimka in 1976 or so. So the National Airport was renamed MURTALA AIRPORT, long before Azikiwe's in Abuja.
  
  What "un"-national event happened to Naija after that?
  
  One would think that highly-qualified Diasporian Ghanaians will "bring" home stuff that will open our eyes. Oh, Ghana!!!!

  Ghana will be immensely blessed if they do the right thing by renaming the airport as Nkrumah International Airport aka NIA. There is no reason why our major port of entry should be named after a traitor who conspired with our enemies to overthrow our first president! Nkrumah deserves this recognition and it's way overdue. May Yahuah bless our motherland Ghana!

Not too many people know of Kotoka, but the name Nkrumah was and still is globally known and associated with an inspirational, visionary and patriotic leader who sought not only the interest of his country, but that of the entire continent as well.
