IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT HE BOUGHT THE VOTE BY DISTRIBUTING TV, BAG OF RICE, ETC AND 3000 GHS TO EACH DELEGATE. THE WIDOW DISTRIBUTED REFERIGERATORS, GAS COOKERS, MICROWAVE AND 3000 GHS TO EACH DELEGATE. MOHAMMED ALABI ALSO DISTRIBUTED 200 MOTORBIKE AND 3000 GHS TO EACH DELEGATE. THEY SHOULD EXPLAINED WHERE THEY GOT THE MONEY FROM. THIS VOTE BUYING MUST STOP, OTHERWISE IF A CANDIDATE IS POOR, HE CAN NEVER WIN AN ELECTION.

  I believe most MPs did vote buying, but what makes Baba Jamal's case exceptional was that he was given an ambassador position and he abandoned the post to contest for MPs. The worst thing was that as an ambassador, he made his vote buying very obvious and he also admitted to distributing TVs and money to the delegates. I believe an action needs to be taken against him to help stop vote buying.
