We are now beginning to understand how sensitive the market is to this kind of rhetoric. When it was pointed out earlier, it was dismissed as mere sloganeering. In all the noise and populist messaging, the underlying trends in the bond market were overlooked.

Figures like Sam George were very vocal, even taking these arguments onto platforms like the BBC. While political responses and counter-responses are expected, the concern is that some of these discussions lack the level of nuance and economic understanding required for such serious matters. He shouted till the bond market fell, and then turned his back to accuse the likes of Ken as mismanagers of the economy. God still dey!!! He will surely cough it through other means, if he really knew the damage he was causing.
