Massa with all due respect, we, as Africans seem to ignore the initiators of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade such as the Portuguese-Spanish the Dutch and the Danish And constantly focus our angst against the British who actually helped abolish it.. That said , we seem to ignore the dreadful role played by our own Ashanti Kings from 1700 to 1896, whose strongest selling point was in slave raiding and trading and excessive human sacrifice to their utterly useless river gods. Even when the British had the guts to abolish those vile and despicable acts in the Gold Coast, our vile and murderous Ashanti Kings were up in arms against them..Yet, we seem to ignore these historical facts.. Bear in mind, I am a bonafide Asante myself.
Now, what riles the average Ghanaian in 2026 is: the hordes of undesirable Nigerians living in our country ,shoving their two- fingers up our noses on a daily basis, yet our Interior Minister, yourself and the President do not seem to care about it. Do we have to compete with Nigerians on our own land to sell onions and tomatoes ?
Per UN predictions, Nigeria will have a population of 450 million in 2050.
Do you think we Ghanaians want or any African country want 20 or 30 million Nigerians living in their midst for the sake of some airt-fairy regional integration? No, no, no!
Frankly, we Ghanaians want to know from you and the Interior Minister, how many Nigerians have been given resident permit and are living in Ghana. in 2026. It is a legitimate question or concern ,yet none of you wants to answer or tell us that.
,You lot seem to fob us off. When did the govt of Ghana advertise jobs for Nigerians to come to Ghana and do simply because Ghanaians do not want to do those jobs? Never! You did your utmost in sending some of our nurses to the the West Indies because they asked for it.
Lastly, much as I adore and admire you, I think your govt should also consider using your majority of MPs in parliament in enacting a law that will restrict key professionals such as doctors, nurses etc from going on strike.
Again, you should also consider the option of not issuing passports to key workers such as doctors ,engineers , nurses, etc who have not served the country for a certain period of time after graduation. After all, no govt anywhere on Planet earth is legally obliged to issue a passport to any of her citizens simply because the applied for it. It has never, ever been a statutory right. And, you should use that effectively against our rude and arrogant doctors who think going to rural areas, which European Cathollic. Missionaries did without a pro lem is beneath them I hope you will not ignore the issues raised becsuse they are from real Ghanaians not just my personal opinion.. Massa, me da wo ase paaa for your precious time ! Pls ignore typos.

Rubbish. Your government6 even has no clue about the true meaning of reparatory justice as you continue to advocate for reparations for African countries, the same countries responsible for selling their own citizens to Europeans in exchange for cloth, European liquor, cheap guns and food supplies. You should be ashamed for wasting Ghana's resources to host a forum on reparations. When you and President Mahama started making this reparations noise, at no point did you even care to address the fact those deserving of reparations are the descendants of slaves living in the Americas, Europe, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico and Central America. Ghana is where a government has decided to waste tax payers' money to house, dine and wine other reparations noise-makers from different parts of the world. Ablakwa, as a crusader against corruption in government, you did so much good for Ghana with your relentless exposing of crooked government officials and their corrupt cronies; but as a Foreign Minister, you've become a blind sycophant of the President, doing the bidding of the President in matters that have no benefit for the country.
