Data is not the new gold. and will not be the new gold. industrial scale Manufacturing as evidenced by the Asian countries is the only way forward. its been proven time and time again in past. the industrial revolution in Britain, France Germany, Italy, the united states, Japan nd now south Korea and China is the proof.
In the 80 the zeigeist was the information and services society ,of the Uk turned its attention to . Industry was decimated manufacturing died and the results is the massive unemployment . data is a necessary component of developmenT but will never be the new gold.
