An interesting article! "Your mystical God in Northern Region" politics may need to look beyond the parochial interest of Tamale if he is to succeed as a national politician. His current role as Education Minister will yet rveal whether he can reverse the misfortune of Education/ educational infrastructure in Northern Ghana more gnerally or not. Incidentally, for the time in the history of the country, two sons of the North are Minister and Deputy Minister of the sector. Tamale is not Nothern Ghana and one would dare say that Haruna contributed significantly to the defeat of the NDC in the 2016 elections because of the very politics for which he is estoled in this article. Haruna cannot succeed without the two other regions of the Nort nor is he perceived as such by others as you describe here. That he was removed in the palace parliamentary coup'd' etat by Gen Mosquito with palbable results for his party also tells a different story from your narrative here.
