  Awesome and insightful commentary. The Nation's football indeed requires intensive surgery! I was surprised to learn that the GFA president cannot be forced out, as the GFA is a private organisation or something along those lines. The rot stems from that association or organisation, whatever legal term best describes it. I was even more surprised to watch a recent speech by Kurt Okraku, the GFA head, delivered in the USA before the World Cup, in which he mentioned, almost exclusively, the objective of scouting for foreign-born players. Is the GFA's primary focus on developing national talent or on scouting foreign-born players? It cannot be both unless, of course, we were looking for an easy way out or perhaps marketing where we have not sown. This surgery will do Ghana football a lot of good. God bless.

  While some countries played 2 ti 4 friendlies within a short space of time of about 10 days, we played effective one. We are friendly shy to prepare for major tournaments we resort to playing local clubs, internal training arrangements team A vrs Team B etc. The team lacks high caliber, typical No. 9, standing in the box with the requisite physique upfront.There is dearth of typical striker since Egypt 2019 afcon no striker has evolved after Asamoah Gyan. The injury of the defender affected the team also.
